On Friday to mark the end of Cook Island Language Week, the Cook Island group performed for the whole school. Nora and Vira'ava represented the Bears and did us proud. They looked amazing and their performance was fantastic. Go Nora and Vira'ava!!

Hi Cook Island group! My son Hugo and I loved reading about your performance and looking at all the photographs of you. Your costumes were so colourful and beautiful, and we especially liked the flowers in Nora's hair - they looked like a crown! In Liverpool, England, we don't wear lovely clothes like that, mainly because it's too cold and wet! We hope you had lots of fun, it certainly looked like you did. We look forward to hearing more stories about your school adventures. From Suzie and Hugo
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Mrs McWhinnie showed us a picture of Hugo - he is very cute! From Honey
DeleteWe hope you keep enjoying our blog. From the Brave Bears
Thanks Brave Bears! Hugo and I are going to Liverpool Museum tomorrow to see an exhibition about fish! We will take some photos to show you. There are all sorts of fish there and Hugo is excited to see all this different shapes and colours.
DeleteLater this week Hugo will be practising his own fish moves, when I take him swimming! He loves splashing around and floating in the water just like dauphin!
Speak to you soon. From Suzie and Hugo
It looks like you had so much fun and the clothes are so colourful! At my school the students wear black trousers and blazers. The most colourful thing they have is the green and black striped tie which has a red, yellow or dark green stripe depending on which house they are in. I wish they could wear colourful clothes like you did last week.

Thank you for your comment. We think your uniforms are fancy. They look really smart. We liked looking at your school website. It is very different to our school. Do any girls go to your school? We could only see boys! We hope to hear from you again soon. From the Brave Bears.

ReplyDeleteQuestions:
1.What part did their enjoy the most?
2.Were they nervous?
3.Did their enjoy it?
4.What did you think of their dance?
Thanks Trenyce :)
Thanks for your questions Trenyce. Nora and Vira'ava said they didn't have a favourite bit as they liked it all. They were a little bit nervous and a bit shy, but they were brave! They loved doing it and can't wait to do it again. We thought their dance was brilliant.
